Dhakai Internship
During my time at Dhakai I have worked on various design and marketing projects. From organizing their brand identity to creating a full brand catalog, I have had the opportunity to learn how to work with clients who have a different design style from myself and create products that fit their brand. I have continued my internship throughout my senior year and have learned even more about how to better communicate and collaborate with my team members remotely while balancing school.
Dhakai Printed Deliverables
This printed catalog, price guide, and postcard show my ability to take existing design aspects of a company, and work together with my supervisors and CEO to create a solid design style for all printed products. These deliverables were handed out and used by our sales team at a trade show in New York.
Dhakai Catalog
The Dhakai catalog was a month-long project that started with a lot of research and working directly with a copywriter, marketing manager, and the sales team to plan out this catalog. The final product was reviewed as a group by the company and then sent to print for an upcoming trade show.
With the unique ability to work for a start-up business,
I've found my projects at Dhakai to have special challenges of their own. Without a predetermined design style, I was able to determine my own design flow with the marketing team and find a system that allows us to maximize creativity and collaboration.
